Lumba Lumba Guesthouse
Lumba Lumba is best described as "luxury in simplicity". We love the simple and beautiful things in everyday life, freshly cought fish, open fire cooking, sleeping under a starry night sky. It's about you establishing a unique relationship with nature. So take off your watch, turn off your phone, forget your everyday life and surrender yourself to island-time.
Accomodation:
The huts for our guests, made of wood and palm leafs, are built in taditinal Papuan style on stilts along the beach.
There is no aircon but a constant ocean-breeeze will keep you cool at night. The bathroom is a shared "traditionl mandi" (shower), where you pour water over yourself.
Electricity is powered by our generator and only available at night from 6 pm - 1am. This area still has very limited cellular coverage (phonecalls and sms are possible, internet connectivity is often poor).
Meals
Accomodation also includes three meals of traditional local foods consisting of fresh fish and organic vegetables from local gardens. We also serve fruit snacks in between the meals. Organic Papuan coffee and local Indonesian tea is always free.
